Roald Dahls Revolting And Dirty Beasts Broadway Review

So everyone in 5th grade (including me) went to see a play today. It was a dedication to a famous novelist named Roald Dahl (Look it up if you don't know what i'm talking about) it was at the seymour centre and we had to wait 5-10 outside the theatre before the musical actually started. I had to go to the toilets before the show, and miss kate said there were no toilets. WHAT IS A THEATRE WITHOUT ANY TOILETS?! I MEAN, SERIOUSLY! Enough with that nonsense, let's just get to the review shall we. (SPOILERS INCOMING!) at the end of a segment, one of the actors actually dabbed. I think i was the one who found it absoultely hilarious. It also had special effects and whenever one of the characters crashed into something, yellow f…

Rant Against Mufasa

Let me just say that mufasa doesn't deserve to be king after what he did to scar. I mean, he treated scar like he was the stupidest brother ever. Also, he's bad tempered and yelled at simba for no apparent reason whatsoever. Why would you treat one of the best villains of all time like a pile of poop?! i didn't really care about mufasa dying. Yell at me all you want but i'm not suprised that scar killed mufasa. That's all for now, peace out!

Unpopular Opinions Of The User CaptainDrawbox

  • 1 Dead memes are better than new memes
  • 2 Star wars is awful
  • 3 Simba is the best lion king character
  • 4 Beans are delicious
  • 5 Mac and Cheese is better than Pizza
  • 6 One Hot Minute is a good album
  • 7 Pop music sucks
  • 8 1989 By Taylor Swift is the worst album of all time
  • 9 Steal This Album is better than Toxicity

i really miss rick roll and stuff like that. Nowadays, memes are full of filler and just aren't funny anymore. And yet, nobody agrees with me.

How can people watch 45 minutes of mindless fighting. What kind of stupid movie is that? How can people watch a guy dressed in black breathing for an hour? How can people watch innocent characters being killed? Why does everyone in the whole entire universe love it? i just don't see the appeal of it.

Most people woul…

My Opinions on the Church Today

Hey guys, I'm Snowstripe the Fierce (call me Snow, will ya?), and I'm really happy I found this Wiki. Anyways, on with the Opinion!

I idenitfy as a Lutheran Christian, and I have been since I was a child. I was raised in a Lutheran family, with only distant relations belonging to the Methodist and Presbyterian Churches. I went to a Lutheran elementary/junior high school from Preschool all the way to 8th grade. I learned, believed, and accepted everything my parents, family, friends, teachers, and pastors (we switched to multiple different churches) told me about our faith.

I did just as was told, asked God for forgivness of my sins, and read the Bible as often as the next kid. Things were going smoothly.

Until 3rd grade. This was the year I…

Donald Trump 2016

Donald Trump is running for President of the united states of American right now as we speak. I do not think that Mr. Trump should be our next president. He has too many childish feuds with with both parties. He told Jeb Bush that his brother George W. Bush that he did not keep us safe after the 9/11 attacks on the WTC & Pentagon (Funny how Trump doesn't blame Condoleezza Rice & John D. Ashcroft for ignoring warnings prior to the attack). He says that Obama was a terrible president. He called Bobby Jindal a nice guy who is nasty. He insults Megyn Kelly. He has attacks People like Ted Cruz, Karl Rove (who I do not like), He gets shocked at women Like Hillary Clinton using the bathroom, & He even handed out Lindsey Graham's phone number. Plu…

Blumenthal, The Devil And The Details

There is no rule on earth, Cardinal Henry Newman once said, to which there is not at least one exception.

Ex parte attachments of assets may best be viewed as an exception to the 14th amendment to the U. S. Constitution. That amendment, in its procedural due process clause, secures the citizens of the United States in their property, which ordinarily cannot be seized by agents of the state without a hearing before a judge. The 14th amendment requires the state to ensure that no one is deprived of "life, liberty, or property" without a fair opportunity to affect the judgment or result.

The exception is necessary because those accused of crimes – when found guilty – are called upon to surrender their assets as a part of their punishment, and a…

The Worst Attorney General In The United States Does It Again

Blumenthal and the Media

It would be a considerable understatement to say that the relationship between Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and Connecticut’s media is cordial. The great failing of the state’s media is that it seems to be unwilling -- or perhaps unable -- to mine below the surface of the attorney general’s all too frequent press releases.

In a recent focus group finding, a matter of fierce controversy between Gov. Jodi Rell and her opponents, it was determined that Blumenthal was at least as popular if not more so than Rell, whose rating after a bruising budget battle with Democrats was 59%, low for the governor. Focus group participants said of Blumenthal, according to a report in the Journal Inquirer, that he was “a strong …

Law proposal: requiring an employee to answer

I call parliaments of every country to adopt the following law:

When somebody asks to be hired in a company, the company if disagree to employ him must send the rejected employer a letter with explanation why he was rejected.

Now potential employers may only tell fortunes why their employment was rejected.

After adoption of this law the employers will better know the labour market and this surely will lead to decreased unemployment and overall improvement of the labour market.

I suggest to create the specialized bureaus/agencies which would be a intermediary between a potential employer and a potential employee. Employers would send letters (or emails) with their employing proposal to such agencies and then the agency would follow the letters …

Avoid Liberal Doublespeak (As Conservatives)

Do you realize that young people have no individual, personal historical reference so they have no concept of avoiding troubles hidden in the words that previously had only one meaning but are now subject to doublespeak redefinitions. If they have not, then they should read the book: Nineteen Eighty Four or 1984, by George Orwell. Maybe you know this use of redefined words and wish to tell others to avoid that... Here are some ways to explain doublespeak as a conservative. Be kind in how your express you opinion so it is not hateful.

Lovingly and kindly point out to young or inexperienced persons that some perhaps "crafty, distorting, or devious" people (notice: better to not describe people as "evil, lying, or perverse") have completely and formally …

AS A LIFE LONG CONSERVATIVE I WELCOMED THE NEWS THAT THE PONZI SCHEME OF MADOFF PRODUCED SOME FORTUITOUS EVENTS FOR CONSERVATIVES LIKE ME. The sudden collapse of the Madoff hedge fund, resulted in the revelation that Madoff swindled many clients out of up to $50 billion.Madoff’s hedge fund collapse has hurt — and in some cases fatally wounded — scores of nonprofit groups and charitable foundations. And it is notable that many of his victims are Leftist organizations.

Madoff is(or was) a heavy donor to Democratic candidates, but his fund also did irreparable harm to the liberal and far-left causes he loves.

At least two major left-leaning charities are closing their do…

IS ECOLOGY A RELIGION OR THE NEW HOME OF THE “COMMIES”?For a long time I have felt that the Ecology movement was the new religion for secularists. The Internet even has a web page for “The Church Of Deep Ecology”, but lately I have begun to feel that many, not all, Ecology leaders and fellow travelers are members of the resurgent American Communist Party!

This opinion has been reinforced by an article in the Friday edition of Investors Business Daily. The article is entitled “Green Comes Clean”. “In a letter addressed to President-elect Obama and his wife, Michelle, James Hansen, head of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, makes an appeal for a carbon tax, ostensibly as a means for cutting emissions of carbon dioxide, a gas that’s a…

One has to admit that senator designate Roland Burris from Illinois has one thing goimg for him--audacity and boldness! Despite the fact that the Senator designated to certify newly elected and appointed senators has publicly said he would not give Burris an office, nor issue him any payroll checks. Mr. Burris is taking his appointment, by arrested and still Governor Blagojevich, seriously. So much so that he is planing on taking a plane or train ride(he has not decided yet which) to Washington to talk to "people" to straighten everything out!

All this preparation despite the fact that President-elect Barack Obama has opposed the appointment of former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris by Rod Blagojevich to his vacant Senate seat.

24 CONSERVATIVES SIGN ON TO RESOLUTION « previous entry | next entry » Jan. 1st, 2009 | 11:37 am

In action reminiscent of the Ronald Reagan years, 24 of the 128 members of the Republican minority Congressional delegation, have signed on to a Proposal to the Republican party by James Bopp vice-Chairman of the Republican National Committee. The Congresional Proposal argues that the financial bailout effectively nationalized the banking system, and that the rescue packages are “moving our free-market based economy another dangerous step closer to Socialism”! If introduced as a Bill and approved, it would put the party on record as opposing the bailouts of the financial and automotive industries, and that no more bail outs would be voted for by…

To try to help readers of this blog understand just what Hamas is, and the threat it poses to the one ally the USA has in the Middle East. I have included a time line of the Hamas movement.

  • Hamas is an acronym for Islamic Resistance Movement and also means “zeal in Arabic.
  • It is formally committed to destroying Israel and putting an Islamic state in its place. But Hamas has said it wo…

Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it. —Ronald Reagan

With rumors swirling around the Internet that ex-Weatherman William Ayers "ghost" wrote Obama's "DREAM memoirs, and based the book on Homers "Odyssey". It occurs to me that the pictures of President elect Obama body surfing and pictures of him in his bathing suit walking on the beach, may be an attempt by Obama handlers to depict him as a "he man" who will lead from strength!

In the following paragraphs I attempt to show the pictures of Obama "shirtless" are no isolated incident, but an attempt to show masculinity and power by his "t…

Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it. —Ronald Reagan

An American family in financial crisis would cut back on wants to have enough money for their needs to exist. Not so the governments of most states, Bloated with government employees and gilded with all the perquisites and plush surroundings. The people whom the taxpayers send to their State Capitols are unfortunately out of touch with reality.

When the Country is hit with a slow down, aka recession, people buy less, and the taxes on the goods they do buy diminish. This naturally reduces the amount of re…

At this blessed time of the holiday season. It is my fondest wish that all Christians and Jews have a blessed and peaceful Christmas and Hanuka! For a Christian like myself whose boss is a Jewish carpenter from Nazareth. I have special happiness at this time of the year that is mixed with sadness! For Christmas day is the anniversary of my mothers birthday, and although she has been dead many years. I think of her kindness and love that helped to make me the man I am.

As the appointments to Obama insider positions progresses, it has become apparent that to be considered you have to be a fellow alumni of the President elects University-Harvard. Todays news includes the appointment of Harvard's professor of Environmental Policy, Dr. John Holdren. Obama in making the appointment said, John Holdern is "one of the most passionate and persistent voices about the growing threat climate change".

This is not an exaggerated statement as this excerpt from a speech that Holdern gave on June 6, 2007 at the Tha…

Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.” —Ronald Reagan

Senator Stabenow (D-MI) has said repeatedly that Senate Republicans killed the auto industry bailout proposal by “politicizing” the issue. In other words, she ascribes to Senate Republicans no concern for workers or for the economy, only a desire to “pierce the heart” of organized labor. The truth is that she and other Democrats have been bought and paid for over the years by the UAW and other unions and it is Democrats who lacks the courage to tell the unions that the party’s over…

WHEN WILL THE KILLING STOP? Wednesday, December 17, 2008

The blood of the millions of "murdered" unborn and partial born infants, who have been killed in the years since The Supreme Court ruled on the most heinous law in our history, cries out for vengeance. The Bush administration and most of the Republicans in Congress have tried to hold back the genocide of the most vulnerable class of people, a baby in it's mothers womb. But the Media is trumpeting the news from the transition team for president elect Obama, to roll back all restrictions on abortion and expand the agenda of the "Right to Choose" cabal.

If ever there was a schizophrenic slogan, the "right too choose" has to head the list. The choice was made when the woman choose to have …

Where did the politics wiki go?

The Politics Wikia recently merged with this wiki. The most popular aspect of the Politics Wikia was the ability to add opinions and to comment on other's opinions. But other aspects of the site weren't getting used and the customisations of the "magazine" style of wiki are no longer being supported.

So the opinions from that wiki have been moved here, and the new blog feature has been used as a new-style opinions section on this wiki.

You can follow the links on the main page to create a new opinion here, and continue to comment and vote as before. The wiki also has debate pages, where you can create detailed arguments for or against a proposition.

Please let me know if you need any help with the change, and I hope you enjoy this new home…
